Mind Over Platter: A Balanced Living Program

This supportive, evidence-informed program is designed for patients seeking support with weight management, eating habits, physical activity, and overall health. The group focuses on building a healthier relationship with food and developing practical, sustainable lifestyle strategies that fit real life.
 

The program recognizes that weight and eating behaviours are influenced by many factors—including stress, emotions, routines, and biology—not just willpower.

Topics Covered Include:
 

  • Craving Change® (cognitive behavioural strategies for emotional eating)

  • Nutrition basics

  • Physical activity

  • Education about available medical treatment options for weight management
     

Who It’s For:
 

Patients interested in improving eating habits, increasing activity, and learning about available supports, including behavioural strategies and medication options to help achieve health goals.

Program Details:

  • 6-week program

  • Weekly 2-hour sessions

  • Facilitated by a multidisciplinary team including a dietitian, psychotherapist, pharmacist, and physiotherapist
